Based in Resonance’s Washington, D.C., office, Steve Pelliccia leads the firm’s growing portfolio of projects and programs with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the U.S. Department of State, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Steve brings more than 22 years of international development experience to Resonance. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Division Vice President for International Economic Growth at Abt Associates and oversaw 17 international development projects in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. These projects spanned technical sectors that included agriculture and food security, competitiveness, natural resource management, governance, and monitoring and evaluation.
Steve also spent 10 years with Chemonics International, where he served in a variety of leadership roles, including Senior Vice President (SVP) for Latin America and the Caribbean, SVP for Afghanistan, and Chief of Party for the Colombia Forestry Development Program.
Earlier in his career, Steve worked for USAID Missions in Colombia and Russia in technical roles that spanned economic growth as well as democracy and governance. He holds a BA in history from the University of Virginia and a JD from the University of Maine.
