Manager, Business Development
The Manager, Business Development will provide critical business development and proposal management support across business units. S/he will support support technical teams in identifying, prioritizing, and pursuing business development opportunities, focused on donor partners, including USAID, State Department, DFID, DFAT and others. The Business Development Manager will serve as a hub for Resonance’s Business Development needs across practices, coordinating pipeline development, managing proposals, monitoring proposal progress, and providing strategic analysis of Business Development efforts. This is a full-time position based in Washington, DC, or Burlington, VT, reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Development. Ability to travel internationally on short notice, and US work authorization required.
Resonance is seeking a creative, passionate, and inspired Marketing & Communications professional to join our company’s headquarters in Burlington, VT. This position will oversee all aspects of Resonance’s marketing and communications work and will work directly with project staff and the strategy & innovation team. S/he will be billable on client projects up to 40%. This is a full-time exempt position based in Burlington, VT, reporting to the Director of Strategy & Innovation. Ability to travel as needed is required.
International Trade (Ecommerce) Specialist
Resonance is seeking International Trade (Ecommerce) Specialist candidates for the USAID Trade and Competitiveness Activity (TCA). The International Trade (Ecommerce) Specialist will be responsible for leading digital trade initiatives for USAID’s Office of Trade and Regulatory Reform. The project is supporting the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Bureau for Economic Growth, Education and Environment (E3) Office of Trade and Regulatory Reform (TRR) to provide technical support to USAID Missions, USAID/Washington bureaus, and other United States Government (USG) operating units to design, implement, and evaluate a broad range of activities related to trade and investment, private sector development, and regulatory reform. Within this scope, TCA is supporting TRR as it works with interagency partners to ensure that USAID’s development programming is supporting USAID partner countries to formulate internationally recognized standards that allow for U.S. businesses to compete and for partner countries to meet standards necessary for increasing their exports and consumer safety.
Short Term Consultant; Market Research
Historically, Resonance has done relatively little work in the global health field with only a few small projects, primarily in the HIV/AIDS area. As the company grows, we are actively considering entering the global health space. Given the vast size and breadth of global health, it is critical that Resonance find market entry points that align with our existing core competencies in partnerships, supply chain sustainability, innovative finance and ICT4D. Using existing internal resources, Resonance is currently mapping the government donor landscape with a focus on USAID and PEPFAR programs. By contrast, the purpose of this consultancy is to help Resonance better understand the private sector landscape in partnerships and private-public collaborations in the field of global health. We want to increase our knowledge and understanding of what areas within global health are being focused on by leading health care, pharmaceutical, health financing and technology companies are focusing on within global health. Our goal is to better understand where Resonance might have a strong business opportunity as well as a transformative impact.
Senior Operations Manager, PEPSE
Resonance is seeking candidates for the role Senior Operations Manager on our USAID-funded Promoting Excellence in Private Sector Engagement (PEPSE) project. The Senior Operations Manager will work closely with the Project Director, Technical Director, Senior Communications and Engagement Lead, USAID representatives, members of the Resonance home office project management team, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the project’s deliverables are achieved in a timely and highly responsive manner and in compliance with the requirements of the PEPSE contract, and the Client and Resonance rules, regulations, and procedures. S/he will oversee and manage various financial, administrative and operational components of the project, and provide leadership in project contract and subcontract management, budget oversight, staff and consultant mobilization and management, client relationship, and HR management for the project.
Senior Manager, Inclusive Markets
The Senior Manager will join Resonance’s Inclusive Markets practice, which designs partnerships, manages projects, and carries out research and analysis to solve pressing private sector development issues. Our work spans numerous economic development sectors including: agriculture, competitiveness, innovation, and trade, with an overarching focus on Private Sector Engagement (PSE). The Senior Manager will play a critical technical and project management role on the team, facilitating cross-sectoral partnerships on behalf of Resonance clients, managing prime and subcontracts in the agriculture and competitiveness sectors, and leading business development efforts in these areas.This is a full-time position based in Washington, DC, with frequent travel to developing countries to support project implementation activities.
Manager, Inclusive Markets
Resonance is seeking candidates for the role of Manager to join our growing Inclusive Markets team. The Manager will be responsible for providing technical, project, and task management support to a portfolio of programs focused on partnerships, private sector engagement (PSE), innovation, competitiveness, workforce development, and enterprise development across a variety of sectors. The Manager will play key technical roles for both DC-based and field assignments. S/he will also play a critical role in our business development strategy as we continue expanding this practice area through the development and deployment of innovative investment and partnership solutions for growing enterprises in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. This is a full-time position based in our Burlington, VT, or Washington, DC, office, reporting to the Director, Inclusive Markets. Senior Manager, Operations
As a member of Resonance’s Project Operations team, the Senior Manager, will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of Resonance’s projects throughout the project life cycle. S/he will provide guidance and practical support to the project management units on all matters related to project financial management, operations, contract and subcontract management, and compliance. S/he will also support the implementation of Resonance’s business development strategy by participating in the proposal development process in a variety of roles. The Senior Manager will be based in Washington, DC, or Burlington, VT, and will work in close collaboration with Resonance’s project staff and other departments within the company. S/he will report to the Project Operations Director.

Subject Matter Experts: Food Security, Agriculture, Nutrition And Related Cross-cutting Areas
Resonance is seeking qualified technical experts for USAID’s anticipated Food Security Service Center (FSSC) Follow-on, focused on nutrition and agriculture. FSSC is designed to help USAID’s Bureau of Food of Food Security support and implement Feed the Future strategies, programming, and initiatives through the deployment of short- to medium-term expertise in Washington, D.C. and Feed the Future countries, focused on improving food security, including agricultural development, gender integration, improved nutrition, and strengthened resilience. Services include on-demand technical and program support, project design, analytical services, capacity building, bridge programming, small scale pilots, and support in the integration of cross-cutting issues critical to the success of Feed the Future.
Vice President, Corporate Sustainability Services
At present, the majority of Resonance revenue is from donor agency clients – USAID, State Department, MCC, Australia’s DFAT and others. In line with our five-year vision, we are growing out a client base among leading companies, foundations, NGOs, and impact investors. Our goal is for Resonance to emerge as a market leader in the design and execution of action-based strategies. In line with this vision, we are seeking a proven Vice President to lead the development and growth of our commercial services practice. As a key member of the Resonance Executive Team, the Vice President will be expected to lead the development and execution of the company’s commercial services strategy, targeting corporate, foundation, investor, and non-profit clients.
