About Rebecca

Rebecca Meisels is the Director of Impact Advisory at Resonance and has over 20 years of experience in social impact consulting and private sector management.  As head of Impact Advisory, Rebecca oversees Resonance’s work with private companies and philanthropy to support strategy development, program implementation, and evaluation & learning needs.

Rebecca has managed client projects across the spectrum of development challenges, with depth of expertise in strategy development, corporate impact and inclusive business, global health, and circularity. Her clients have ranged from Fortune 500 companies to mid-sized NGOs and large philanthropic funders. Rebecca is experienced in developing communications for and facilitating work with stakeholders from C-suite executives to smallholder farmers in the global south.

Prior to joining Resonance, Rebecca was a Senior Manager at Dalberg Advisors and served as Chief of Staff for the Dalberg Trust, the Danish foundation charged with stewarding the Dalberg mission and values across its seven entities. Previously, Rebecca held several roles in GlaxoSmithKline, including roles as General Manager, Cambodia & Laos; Commercial Director for Indochina; and Regional Project Manager, East Africa.

Rebecca has also worked with the IFC to develop a growth strategy for female artisan collectives in Kyrgyzstan and launched Seri Couture, a luxury sustainable fashion startup. Seri Couture worked with collectives of more than 500 rural Cambodian weavers and sericulture farmers, creating high-end gowns from traditional gold silk textiles.

Rebecca holds an MBA in International Business from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s in international politics from Emory University. She has lived in and managed multicultural teams across five continents.
