About Laurie
Laurie Pickard is an expert in private sector engagement with 14 years of experience and a proven track record of facilitating market-driven partnerships. She has brokered multi-stakeholder partnerships with companies and development partners and has supported USAID Missions to build PSE technical and leadership skills. Laurie has been with Resonance since 2018. She previously served as PSE Advisor and Rural Enterprise Development and Entrepreneurship Specialist at USAID/Rwanda.
A lifelong learner and an out-of-the-box thinker, Laurie is the author of Don’t Pay For Your MBA (HarperCollins, 2017), which grew out of her popular “No-Pay MBA” blog chronicling the business education she put together out of publicly available resources. Outside of work, Laurie enjoys spending time with her family and skating with a synchronized ice skating team.
